He was a good man, who loved life namely his golf, walking his dog and being proud of his family. He was always laughing and welcoming, a rare breed these days a man’s man. Breaking into song with some rhyme or humorous verse he remembered which often had me in tears of laughter. He enjoyed the odd book or two, roamed around antiques fairs for something that would take his fancy, only then to spend a while enjoying the chat of bartering the price down. He was taken from us all far too early, I feel cheated, as I would have like to have known him more, but every day I see a little of him in his daughter my wife. Paul - Son in Law
